Music Video Finale

P2T4 Price Tag from Kapaa Middle School MEDIA on Vimeo.
In my G.T. class recently we are making music videos. My team and I chose the song Price Tag by Jessie J.  The storyline is, in the beginning people all being so serious, shopping and not caring about anything else. The middle is when the people come together and start having fun.  Finally in the conclusion of our music video the people realize that its not all about the money.  This relates to the lyrics by, in the song it says, "Why is everybody so serious Acting so dang mysterious".

My Favorite fast-edit montage sequence is the leading up to the chorus and the chorus. In this scene, the lip sync and the story line are portrayed together perfectly, then it leads into the chorus which is me throwing money up in the air.  I feel that this montage was done really good.

Our music video shows our top notch work and all the things that we have learned this year. By, having the title and conclusion screen done in photoshop, this is displaying all of the photoshop skills that we have learned that make us the "Photoshop Ninjas" we are. The other ways that we display our best work is with our beautiful shot types and our I movie editing skills.  Throughout the year we have been using imovie now we get to show what masters we have become.

Lyrics:

Lyrics:
Seems like everybody's got a price
I wonder how they sleep at night
When the sale comes first
And the truth comes second
Just stop for a minute and smile
Why is everybody so serious
Acting so dang mysterious
Got shades on your eyes
And your heels so high that you can't even have a good time
Everybody look to their left
Everybody look to their right
Can you feel that, yeah
We're paying with love tonight
It's not about the money money money
We don't need your money money money
We just wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
Ain't about the uh cha-ching cha-ching
Ain't about the yeah b-bling b-bling
Wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
We need to take it back in time
When music made us all unite
And it wasn't low blows and video no’s
Am I the only the one getting tired
Why is everybody so obsessed
Money can't buy us happiness
Can we all slow down and enjoy right now
Guarantee we'll be feeling alright
Everybody look to their left
Everybody look to their right
Can you feel, yeah
We're paying with love tonight
It's not about the money money money
We don't need your money money money
We just wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
Ain't about the uh cha-ching cha-ching
Ain't about the yeah b-bling b-bling
Wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
Well keep the price tag
And take the cash back
Just give me six strings
And a half stack
And you can, can keep the cars
Leave me the garage
And all I, yes all I need are keys and guitars

Character Development

Hey its me! recently in my gt class we have been been working on animation, in animation among in any good film or story making you need character development, myself, I show displays of humor on a regular bases. One of my traits or relatable imperfections is that, I can only fall asleep listening to music or watching T.V., I cant just fall asleep laying in the dark.

Some of my character traits that I plan on exaggerating is my humor element, I will always be the guy cracking a joke. I will include this in animating myself be, making my character do funny things, some of witch maybe be dumb but the is what humor is, dumb funny things. Some of my other chararistics are that,

The step-by-step process of doing this, making my animated .GIF character is, add in the cropped out image of your self then, size your image as height 720 px and width 640 px and a resolution of 300 px then go to puppet warp > place pins Frames & Layers: Window > Animation > DD Menu, Adjust Timing: Select All Frames > Change to 0.1 sec and finally Save for Web & Devices.

Tiny Spherical Worlds

Yup Im back yet again, this week I will be exploring into Spherical and Polar panoramas. So what is the point of composite images? Isn't one picture enough? No it is not, composite images show more then an normal camera, they go beyond and show more. Thats why there just so awesome and I love using them.

The difference between polar an spherical panoramas is that spherical panoramas are when its like an invert where the sky is in the middle of your world and the land is the outer edges, for the polar it is a polar opposite hahaha see what did, they have the sky as the outer edges and the land like its its own little world.

What makes my finished worlds convincing is that they a well edited, the lighting, color and vibrance are popping out at you. Also while editing I used the stamp tool to make it look outstanding and more realistic then the raw edit that photoshop gives you.

Hockney Style Joiners

Hey its me again! In this blog post I will be exploring into photography and some of David Hockney’s photomontages and how mine our different and the kind of messages I am trying to send. Well first of all, David Hockney's photomontages are very abstract, mine are abstract as well but not as much, and not in the same way.

Images can send different messages, positive, negative, joyful, morningful, energetic, sleepy. Different images all send different messages some send one, some can send many. In positive photos the images are usually brighter. Negative images are more dark and not as vibrant and show more sadness then joy!

The message that my photo montage is trying to send is a athletic/nature theme, as you can see the basket ball hoop resembles athleticism and the beautiful background shows nature. The real messages behind athleticism and nature that is being show cased is that people think of basketball as a city sport, I am showing my interpretation of what basketball is to me.

2016 Aspirations

Hey guy in spirt of new some goals I want to attain during 2016 is, have my parents win the publishing clearing house, to start saving up money to go to an NBA game in senior year, get a A in Ms. Nagatori's english class, Go visit my Gram and uncle and auntie guys in California!, and finally play more basketball to get better and with hold my 60 minutes a day.

Although I really do want to do all of my 2016 task list that I have set the one I want the most is to have my parents win the publishing clearing house (PCH). Why? you may ask, Well my Mom has been entering since she has been 13 for her mom and I know it would mean a lot to her to win and plus who doesn't like a little extra cash.

Some of the steps I will take to ensure that my mother at least has a chance to win, there is a lot of people that enter the odds are probably some where along 1 and a million but doesn't stop my family from trying. I will some always enter for her if she is busy working, i will remind her to enter and make sure she enters every day!

Hey guys its me so if you haven't already go check out my games above. So recently we have been experimenting with Scratch coding, and those are the two game I have been working on. It has been really awesome. So the first thing i am going to be talking about is the experience I have had with games and how it affect my game, well first of all my hatred from a buggy game led me to make sure my game wasn't bugging out on my players, I mean who likes a buggy game, nobody right. So one other thing was to make my game completely possible to win cause I just hate it when you just play a game and it is impossible to win.

So in my game designing I didn't want to games to be the same you I design them totally differently by have one kind modern city, the other was designed to be like a colorful future theme. Also i wanted the games to be a different, work differently and overall be unique.

Invention Commercial

P2T10_invention from Kapaa Middle School MEDIA on Vimeo.

Hey guys I am back in this blog post I am going to describe my team’s main goals for this the invention commercial, then I am going to explain our best “team moment” and During post-production editing, who did what & why during production Our teams goal was to exceed the expeditions. We wanted to have a funny while still keeping its interesting and describing factor. Basically the is a list of all the things we wanted.
  1. Funny
  2. Still video clips
  3. Great audio
  4. Interesting
  5. Describes what are product does and why you need it
  6. Entertain the audience
We did okay on some of the goals but I am not going to lie we did not achieve some of our goals hoped. But overall it came okay and pretty funny!

So my team overall best team moment was was film. We had a lot of fun doing this, because of all of the mess ups and funny extra scenes were really funny. I think it made our team bond greater cause we all laugh together and shared thought witch was great :)! Our funniest scene was probably the part where we were trying to sing the theme song. We had so many of these clip caused it took us so long to get it perfect, once we got back to our computer it was really fun to watch.

My team was Zephen, Jaesha and I during post-production we had lots of cool ideas. We divided the editing up into 3 sections, editing and trimming of clips, transitions, and audio. In our post-production Jaesha and I did all of the video trimming and Zephen did transitions and audio. During this we had lots of fun and all found out new and more precise ways to do things.
